Paintball in Singapore. The past and the present...

Paintball was first introduced to Singapore in the year 1999. The first paintball facility (TAG Paintball) was established in the most eastern part of the city located in a family oriented resort known as Downtown East. This teambuilding game was somewhat similar to what many call “war” where two parties armed with paintball guns (commonly known as paintball markers in the paintball industry) go into the woods to shoot and “gun down” one another. As the famous...

Yes, we won it! Not first, not second but third. Our first paintball medal. Red Dynasty 5 (RD5) - Singapore's First 5 on 5 Weekend Tournament

Singapore's only weekend makeshift paintball league is happening in Red Dynasty. A league that is run by the players, play by the players. This is a no-frill league, no registration fee, no pre-arranged marshalls, no duration. Simple is good. There is no restriction on the number of paintballs you want to carry in the game. A fun affair for the paintball community to know one another and an opportunity for those who has never participated SPNS to experience the real game.

Malaysia Paintball Official Circuit MPOC (Leg 5), Johor, Malaysia, 10 Nov 2007

And so we thought...

"
So close and yet so far"...that's how I would describe the final leg of the MPOC 2007. "So close" simply because this is the closest paintball tournament we can ever have in terms of proximity (just 5 mins away from the Causeway) and "so far" because we have once again missed out on a semi final placing. "So close" because we are 1 pellet short of qualifying and "so far" because we might never and will never have a MPOC leg in Singapore...Read on
